You need MORE than top marketing strategies to grow your business

I recently had a huge epiphany watching one of my favorite coaches ever lose their good juju over a marketing frenzy that was not aligned with them anymore. I've seen and felt the SHIFT in their marketing big time, and while I am a big fan of their work, I did not recognize the essence of who they are anymore and why I signed up in the first place.?

There isn't anything wrong with implementing a more aggressive marketing strategy when it's aligned with you, your core values, and your beliefs. I would even say it works very well for some people (those who make a lot of noise online). But the truth is that they are not the majority of us, and I definitely did not recognize myself in following in the same footsteps.?

I thought today I would hold some space for you to get over it and think of a way to bring your essence to your marketing.?

Here is what marketing is not:?

Marketing does not have to be manipulative to work.

Marketing does not have to be on every front.

You don't need to be everywhere and exhaust yourself from doing it all.

Marketing is not a number game.??

Here is what marketing is supposed to be:?

Marketing is supposed to be COHESIVE. That's why I don't recommend hiring too many people to do or help with your marketing.?That also goes with your support system. Too many coaches can be confusing.?Instead, I suggest you?find people aligned with you, your core values, your vision, and your belief system. And if you can have them meet and work on a cohesive presence together, it's even better. Think of it as finding your A-team and ensuring there is no GAP between who you are and how you come across when they do things for you.?

This is such an important topic, yet, for many entrepreneurs and coaches out there, marketing is still a messy mystery that does not bring a lot of fun. So let's change that, shall we?
