YOU MUST BE RESPONSIBLE

Your acts or omissions produce results or outcomes.?

Whether you intended those outcomes or not, they came about because you took a step or failed to do so.?

Just as you would have claimed and pride yourself on the positive outcomes, you must be responsible for the negative ones too.?

You must own up and accept responsibility regardless - ownership without excuses or blame games.?

We know it is difficult to "own up" especially when things do not go the way we expected them. But it is great leadership to accept responsibility always.?

So, this week, do not shy away from your actions or omissions.

Be bold to accept the challenges and embrace the work required.?

Sometimes, it simply starts by saying “It is my call and I will fix it” or “I have learned from this and will get better”.?These admissions and assurances ignite a renewed commitment to getting things done right.

So, don’t miss the opportunity to show leadership and get things done.

Don’t look for scapegoats or excuses.

Once the bus stops with you, it is your responsibility to ensure it moves again in the right direction.?

Own up, be responsible, and drive positive outcomes.?
