Are you missing the remote work train?

Are you missing the remote work train?

There has been a plethora of studies done recently on the benefits of remote workers and a recent Gallup poll found that 43% of employed Americans now work remotely at least partially. The Bureau of Labor Statistics states that one in five professionals work somewhere outside of the office. Why?

Remember all they hype you've heard about Millenials over the past few years? Today, Millennials are the largest generation in the labor force and also responsible for the "lion's share of the work" according to Accounting Today.

At Roark, we too believe that there are many benefits to offering remote workers and have adopted a model that has had a profound impact on our employee retention and engagement. Eighty percent of Millennials prefer a job with such benefits over an identical one that offered 30 percent more salary without them in one study.

The impact we've seen has been a huge reduction in overhead costs, a higher level of connectivity among our staff, higher retention rates, and skyrocketing engagement levels across all of our staff. With all of that, we've been able to maintain some of the highest level of service to the executives and professionals we serve. We've been able to make smarter decisions, like having career coaches and recruiters available during after work hours rather than the typical 8-5 and being able to give client's more attention without sacrificing our employee's ability to interact with their families and friends more.

If you're missing out on the remote work train, email us today and we'd be happy to share some examples of what has worked for us and what is working for some of our clients.

Ask me how to get higher retention and engagement today!
