Should you advise your Clients over Insurance Issues? Get Answer to this Pertinent Question.
This webinar examined the duties of an agent and /or Broker about whether they have an obligation to advise their customer on Insurance issues. Questions such as - Which is the “Best Practice”? When is this required and when isn't it- What are the consequences? What can be done to better serve the customer and avoid costly and time consuming E&O Claims and the problems when renewing ones E&O? After all, isn't selling Insurance an intangible? Aren't Brokers really selling Financial Security and how an Insurer responds when needed? Etc. will be answered.
You can learn how to distinguish yourself from their competitors. Others sell insurance Policies, you will be taught to emphasize that you are a problem solver and intend to provide financial security. This is achieved by providing advice and in helping to correct uncertainties in the Policy. You will know when Customers don't listen, where should the emphasis will be and how to document the same in a proper way so as not to offend the customer, but to protect.
