Be You...

Be You...

Do less in order to become more productive.

The past few articles here have focused on two topics of teaching:

1) Teach Something

2) Teach Someone

This can be a tough thing to do (it is for me, especially as an introvert).

Today, let's dig into one other thing that sometimes might stop you (and me) from doing this...

The Problem:?Some People Don't Like Me

This week, imagine you and I attending a Fashion Show.

Decide where (and hey is anyone really reading these scenarios lol? ping me and let me know via a direct message here) but make it a high fashion city somewhere cool in the world.

ME: "Hey, how are you?"

YOU: "Some people don't like me."

Reality check.

Not everyone is going to like you (or what you do).

How can this apply to "doing less in order to become more productive", the promise of this little weekly newsletter series?

Stop trying to please everyone.

You can't.

So.

Stop.

The Actionable Tip: Be You

Be You.

In order to do less and become more productive.

What makes YOU you?

In the comments below, please share?ONE?actionable tip how you "Be You" in order to do less and become more productive.

Can't wait to see what you contribute here today.

Thank you,

I make decisions - that's part of what makes me, me. When others may experience paralysis through analysis, I decide. It may or may not be the best decision...while I'd rather move & iterate.

Oh we're definitely in Italy sipping warm beverages and eating pastries. I always enjoy the scenario. Haha. Being Me has been important to get to do the things I like to do with the people I like to do it. I'm a big nerd who does LARP and Reenactment so I dress up on the weekends with my friends for fun. It makes it a lot easier to speak up for other stuff too - I'm not shy about this at the gas station on my way to an event and I'm not shy about it during water cooler chats. It also means I'm not shy if I need to speak up about things that need to happen at work either. It definitely makes a difference!
