Are you marketing yourself the wrong way?

I’ve learned that there are 2 types of people in the world.

Those who say hi first ?? and those who wait to be greeted ??

I’ll admit, I’m a talker. I can chat to people in queues, on the bus, the shopping center. I learn interesting things too, that I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t started chatting.

But most people took their mom’s advice to heart & don’t chat to strangers.

It might save them from being kidnapped on those 1-in-a-million occasions, but it also stops them from learning fascinating stuff ??

How does this relate to business?

Entrepreneurs fall into 1 of 2 categories:

  • Proactive marketers (talkative go-getters)
  • Reactive marketers (strong, silent type)

Proactive marketers go out there & look for leads. They do outreach, speak to people, & ultimately make their own luck.

Reactive marketers wait for people to come to them. They post on social media & hope. They wait for referrals to magically come to them. In the end, what happens, happens.

Which one are you?

  • Most marketers are reactive.

Without even realizing it!

Any of this sound familiar?

?? You rely on word of mouth

?? You don’t like following up

?? You prefer email to phone calls

BUT…

Truth Bombs:

With reactive marketing:

? You’ll never get to 5k+ per month consistently

? You’ll never know what you’re making each month

? Your leads aren’t always the right people for you

? Referrals are extremely short-lived

? Posts get lost on social media and end up in the void of the internet

This is what separates the big guns from little, stagnant businesses.

This is what takes you from average to excellent.

Your business success literally hinges on this.

Proactive marketing.

If you want success, financial freedom, to know what you’re making each month, to work with your dream clients-

You have NO choice.

You need to be a proactive marketer.

That means:

?? Finding new leads constantly

?? Making sure they’re qualified

?? Reaching out

?? Getting on calls

?? Following up

?? Actively selling

?? Repeat!

If you’re a “wait to be spoken to” kinda person, you won’t get far in business.

Proactive marketing takes work.

It’s harder than reactive marketing.

But proactive marketing PAYS.
