SJI was proud to serve as a sponsor for the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey Day of Service last month. As part of the Day of Service, SJI employees volunteered at various nonprofit organizations throughout South Jersey, including Oaks Integrated Care, Habitat for Humanity of South Central New Jersey, and Histiocytosis Association, where they prepared Thanksgiving food baskets, completed painting and construction projects, and packed care bags for hospital patients. A special thank you to all employees for participating in this initiative and helping to make a difference in our communities!

SJI's subsidiaries, South Jersey Gas and Elizabethtown Gas, partnered with the Mark Cuban Foundation to train the state’s next generation of technology leaders by hosting Artificial Intelligence (AI) Bootcamps for 40 local high school students. The camps took place over 3 sessions from November 2 to November 16 at the utilities’ Atlantic City and Union, NJ headquarters. Through this immersive 3-week bootcamp, students learned the basics of AI, practiced their new skills by completing hands-on labs, and connected with fellow students and mentors.
