You Are Loved!

Every so often, when I get or receive a burst of inspiration (and it can be a myriad of things that cause that) I find it quite therapeutic to pen my thoughts in the form of a poem.

I want to share one I wrote late in 2021. It was inspired by a particular thing that was happening for me at the time, but when I re-read it, it's clear that my words were also self-dialogue, healing - i.e. I was re-assuring myself that I am enough, I am good enough, I am OK and I am Loved! So, just after Valentine's Day, when we're encouraged to show how much we love others, take time to appreciate YOU and know that YOU, ARE, Loved!

I've been speaking to several people lately who are stressed, anxious, down, depressed about a whole host of things and so, it's for that reason that I now present my little poem as a gift to you.....

You are loved!

As you travel along life’s rocky path

Know that you are loved.

It’ll make you sad and happy, cry and laugh but,

Know that you are loved.

As the rocky path divides, hope has been your choice, and

Know that you are loved.

Your inspiration gives others a voice. So

Know that you are loved.?

Through your purpose and every word

Know that you are loved.

Your service ensures that voice is heard, so

Know that you are loved.?

Living in the now and going with the flow,

Know that you are loved.

And as your light guides the way you go

Know that you are loved.?

For All the lives you touch past and now

Know that you are loved.

And as challenges arise and you don’t know how,

Know that you are loved.?

Through all those you know it’s clear to see, so?

Know that you are loved

And I know I speak for them all as they’d all say “what You mean to me!”

So from everyone whose light YOU see

Know

That YOU

Are LOVED
