You Are Loved Much

You Are Loved Much

I have always loved this scripture and ponder often on the love Jesus showed Mary Magdalene. Everyone wanted to stone her according to the Law she had broken, but Jesus says No... Then leaders though sick if He only knew what kind of woman was at His feet. What a mind-blowing love... right? His love changed her life she followed Him so passionately from that point forward. So can you even fathom the Love He lavished on her? He does on us too even though we are so undeserving? I know this Love... He redeemed me and set me free, He changed me and is still changing me... sometimes I feel His Love so real like He's holding me in His arms.

I was thinking and reading about what Jesus did when He rose from the grave last night and it says so much more about his unfathomable, forgiving love? Who does He appear to? He appears to Mary Magdalene the one who He said had been forgiven much. Then He also says to go and tell the others and Peter who denied him out of fear at the end. His love holds no records of wrongs, He forgives us as far as the east is from the west and does not shame us with it. Know you are loved much! There is nothing you have done that would cause Him to turn you away, Come as you are, He will set you free!

Matthew 28:2After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.

Mark 16:9 9 When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons. 10 She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping.

John 20:11 Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb 12 and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.

13 They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?”

“They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.” 14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.

15 He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”

Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”

16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.”

She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!”
