HAPPY SPRING!?
I am excited to publish our first ever LinkedIn newsletter as I bring for?you updates from my side of the world that will hopefully help you pause, reflect and get to speed with the latest in the world of?wellbeing, employee engagement and skills training!
In this quarterly newsletter, we explore-?
Let's dive in!?
Mental Health and Wellbeing- National level study now LIVE!?
I am so proud to share that?a national level?report that I have co-written on?'FROM SURVIVING TO THRIVING'?is now LIVE! We launched this report earlier this year and the feedback has been brilliant to say the least. This project has been in the making since last year and I am beyond honoured to have been asked to co-write this extremely relevant report that dives deeper into understanding how we can better support mental health and wellbeing of individuals.?
Although the backdrop of this report is the cultural sector?(a sector I have been working very closely with since the past few years), I feel it's learning can be replicated quite easily into the business world as well. Ultimately, people across the board must have the space to take care of their own mental health and wellbeing no matter the sector/industry they belong to right? You can read the full report?HERE
On the back of the tremendous response we have received, we are now going?to launch a podcast series that talks more about this report- watch this space!?
Survey- Hybrid working- Final call out!
Since last year, we have been working with small and medium sized businesses on their?hybrid working strategy and how that impacts the wellbeing and career progression opportunities of employees.? Our work has helped us understand that organisations have a long way to go in truly understanding what 'hybrid culture' means.?
To that extent, we have recently partnered with?Lancaster University Management school?to develop a research report to better understand the impact of hybrid working?on the engagement, morale and wellbeing of teams. As part of this research we have put together a short survey and I would love for you to voice your experience as well.
Please fill in your thoughts using the link below and I will most definitely share the results with you in the next few months.? SURVEY LINK HERE
Community Wellbeing project
If there is one thing that has dramatically changed within my business?then it has been the Community engagement?work that I have had the privilege of leading and delivering.
One such project has been?a co-production based project that I co-produced with?the elderly LGBTQ?community here in Leeds. It has been a year long effort to get members with mobility issues to move and enjoy creativity?and movement. The purpose of this project was to improve the wellbeing?and confidence?of the members who often live in isolation. I was and still am beyond proud of what we have achieved. Although the event was to celebrate LGBT History month, in all honesty it was so much more. It was a chance for members to come together and to build connections, to feel joy and to feel celebrated. I think that projects like these are small but definite steps in my passion to build a more inclusive world.

Two new wins- Strategic team development?
As a small business owner, sometimes you can get too busy in the 'work' and not really take a moment to 'be'!?So this month I am practicing what I preach and I have taken time to reflect on our successes from the past month.?
I am happy to share?that we have recently won two new contracts to work with two remarkable people focused organisations on their hybrid working strategy and their employee wellbeing strategy respectively.?
I am very excited to get stuck in and support both the teams with building a robust, inclusive and solution focused strategy that can help them through their next phase of growth.??
If you would like to have a chat to discuss how we can support you and your team with your overall wellbeing and morale then feel free to drop me a message via LinkedIn
DIY Wellbeing activity this month
This month's wellbeing activity is all about showing gratitude.?
GRATITUDE JAR
As an individual- Take an empty glass jar on the Monday of any week. Keep a post-it notepad handy, every time something positive happens to you, scribble it down on the post it note and put the note?into the jar. It could be anything, for example- the rain stopped as soon as you left home, you got a special good night kiss from your child, your colleague offered to make coffee for you etc. On the Sunday of that week, take all your post it notes out and have a good read. It is sure to make you feel more mindful and at peace with yourself.?
As a team- You can try the same activity where you can?get a jar and place it on your office desk and ask colleagues to drop in a thank you note every time some one in the team shows kindness. For example- 'Thank you Tomas for sorting?the prints on Tuesday!' It could be anything big or small.?The act of acknowledging any positive action is a proven way of introducing a healthier mindset.?
Let me know how you get on??
One to one coaching- UPDATE?
As you would be aware, along with growing a thriving consultancy business like TPL Experiences, I also offer one on one coaching on 'Confident speaking' through my personal consultancy company-?Minoti Parikh Consultancy.?Every quarter, I sign up two new clients and only ever work with three clients at any given point in time. Two out of these three slots are currently booked up and I have space for just one more passionate values driven?individual to join me.?
