Imagine a Life Where You Lived Up to Your Full Potential Everyday
The most significant influence on our behavior is our beliefs – some propel us forward, others severely constrain us, like our self-limiting beliefs. We go through life performing FAR below our full potential because that is all we wrongly believe we are capable of. We are all born with unique gifts and potential that reflect our authentic selves. While we are young children, still mindful, creative, and full of imagination, we feel free to explore our gifts and potential – to be our authentic selves. All things are possible, and life is beautiful and happy.
Then, around the age of five or six, we start the mass indoctrination of our children into conformity – a social ritual known as compulsory public education. This begins a 12-year process of developing some of our most enduring beliefs about how the world works and our role. Because our cognitive skills and life experiences are so limited, and our mindset is one of obedience to the adults in our lives, we mindlessly accept indoctrination and all of the self-limiting beliefs that come with that.
The conditioning most of us get at home from our parents during this period isn’t much better. They, too, were indoctrinated into conformity and disempowering self-limiting beliefs as children and have continued to live their lives that way. It is only natural they would continue the ritual – no one ever showed them the way out of that belief system.

The internet has changed that. We all now have easy access to different perspectives – different ways of seeing the world – different beliefs about what is real and possible. We can start to imagine things differently again, like when we were children. The world becomes full of exciting possibilities again, especially about what is possible for us.?When we pursue these possibilities, many of us run into an invisible wall, again and again, that blocks our progress. Many of us eventually give up. Yet, subconsciously, we know we are not living our authentic lives or up to our full potential. We never understand the invisible barrier that holds us back: nothing more than deep-seated, self-limiting beliefs. Nothing else is standing between you and living the life of your dreams.
Here is an extraordinary epiphany: your self-limiting beliefs are not true. They are lies. And you don’t have to believe them. As an adult, you are now responsible for your beliefs, whether you are aware of them or not. You are free to dissolve the self-limiting beliefs holding you back and replace them with positive, empowering beliefs about yourself and what is possible. This process is not quick or easy, but it is 100% doable. Imagine a life where you are happy, successful, and living up to your full potential in all areas of your life. That should be all of the motivation you need.
