Are you like me, a recovering perfectionist?

You may have noticed that we have been sharing with you a blog series about Resilience. Many of us living with chronic illness, injury and disability and those of us working with people living with chronic conditions are often looking for the missing link, the hack, the 1 thing we can do to make an effective difference in the lives of our client’s.
In the first blog Resilience – Just another Buzzword I shared with you my mis-interpretation and unhelpful understanding of what resilience is and how I came to understand just how important it is when we are helping people take back control of their lives following injury, illness and disability.
Consultant Rehabilitation Counsellor Kylie Warry is our Resilience Guru. We have created a brand-new program called The Purpose for People program that is helping people make change where no change was expected, where change was attempted and failed, and where change has been terrifying. The first foundation stage of this program is tapping into each participant’s unique strengths so they can build their resilience.
Lives are being transformed and its pretty darn awesome to be a part of.
Kylie has developed a resilience framework around what she calls the 4 G’s of resilience. We have already shared 2 of these with you
1. Gratitude
2. Grounding
The 3rd G in the framework is Growth and you can read this article here
