Are You Leveraging the Power of Networking? How to Network the Right Way?

This is going to be an amazing read for everyone irrespective of what profession you are, what business you do and which society you live in. If you are a human being, this is for you.

For ages humans have lived together, firstly as hunter-gatherers, then they started living in colonies and then finally over time we have reached this highly connected yet disconnected world. What's common in this?

The common thread is networking, Humans always tend to network and have always loved associating. Today in this newsletter I am going to ask you a simple question "Are you leveraging the power of networking? And also shed some light on How to network the right way?"

Last week in Delhi, I witnessed something truly remarkable while I conducted a 1 Day event for wristwatch Analysis and therapy which is a science which can transform your life. Yes, you heard me right. Wristwatches are deeply connected to your subconscious mind and they control the way you think and act. The event was super successful and everyone in the event had an amazing time. I listened to great stories of my students and members who came for the event.

Btw I am conducting a 1 Day Live Logo Discovery Event in Pune on the coming 6th of October where I will teach the science of scientific logo designing and Visiting cards to make your brand presence stronger and attract more business.

Imagine a room filled with over 50 individuals, each with their own stories and aspirations. In my 13 years of experience, as an occult entrepreneur transforming businesses and lives at scale through the occult, I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful relationships can stem from simple conversations. Let me share a story. During one of my recent 1-day events, I met a person who dealt in property sales and was struggling with deals that failed at the last hour. In the same event, there was another person who dealt extensively with properties on the demand side and had a great network. They both got connected and in the coming days, they might up doing great business together. This is what networking is! This is what events do to people. You have lots of people to learn from and network with. Networking is not as easy as it seems, it requires lots of attention too. You have lots of things to do while networking but it's very important to note what not to do in networking with people.

What Not to Do in Networking

While networking can open doors, here are some common mistakes to avoid:

  1. Don’t Be Selfish: If you focus only on what you can gain, people may be put off. Remember, networking is a two-way street.
  2. Avoid Small Talk: Casual chats are great but aim to dig deeper. Meaningful conversations lead to stronger bonds.
  3. Don’t Forget to Follow Up: After meeting someone interesting, reach out. A simple message can keep the connection alive.

A Simple Plan for Effective Networking

Here’s a straightforward approach to turn your networking efforts into real success:

  1. Meet New People: Attend events, join local meetups, or invite someone for coffee. Every new connection is a chance for growth.
  2. Build Genuine Relationships: Treat each connection like a seed. Invest time in understanding their challenges and strengths. The more you care, the stronger your network becomes.
  3. Transform Connections into Business: If out of ten people you talk to, two share your vision, that’s a win! Nurture those relationships, and watch them blossom into business opportunities.
  4. Create Value for Others: The key principle of abundance is creating value. When you help others succeed—whether through advice, introductions, or support—you build trust. This not only enriches your network but also leads to lasting relationships.
