"Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers, who can cut through the argument, debate, and doubt to offer a solution everybody can understand" -- General Colon Powell
In light of today’s happenings, we are bombarded with opinions, media, and drama. Although we all have the right to our opinions, we need to keep in mind that leadership is not about forcing an opinion but, rather, influencing others to a greater significance.
We still live in the United States of America. Yes, we are a melting pot which has made America great. This does not mean one group has the right to demand changes as a directive. It is Un-American with the attempt to remove history without consensus, the justification of stealing and destroying property in the name of peaceful protest and replacing law and order with violence.
"People are not born great leaders, great leaders are created" -- Bob Reish
People are not born as great leaders, great leaders are created. Great leadership is a choice. Making the decision to become a great leader is an intentional act. Those who become great leaders understand that leadership comes a desire to be accountable and responsible, not a desire for power and control.
"Integrity is woven into the fabric of great leaders." -- Bob Reish
Integrity is woven into the fabric of great leaders. As yeast creates rise in a loaf of bread at it onset, integrity is the key ingredient in every great leader. Great leadership is built on a great foundation. With Integrity as its foundation, the strength lies in its pillars. The 5 pillars of great leadership are:
- Great leadership creates a legacy of integrity.?
- Great leadership inspires a passion for integrity.
- Great leadership influences a path in integrity.
- Great leadership draws a blueprint to integrity.
- Great leadership leads a generation into integrity.
Integrity is the key to great leadership. As great leaders matures, they motivate others through:
- an intention to create an ongoing legacy,
- inspiring a passion for greatness,
- influencing a path to follow,
- drawing a blueprint for clarity
- leading future generations into significance.
Great leaders never stop growing. great leadership is the reflection of integrity. Without integrity, there is no direction, only chaos. Leadership is not about the acquisition of a position, it is about integrity. Many leaders lack the title and lead with integrity.
Leaders- It is time to lead with integrity.
In your business, families, communities and churches, be the example that people will want to be. The status-quo will always lead to mediocrity; excellence will rise in the end.
Don’t be afraid to stand up for excellence.
Be a great leader.
“To whom much has been given, much shall be required.” -- Luke 12:48
