You can’t find the right people.
What are you busy working on? What are you always behind on? For which tasks are you short on workers at your workplace?
You could, of course, consider whether a robot or other type of automation could help you and your co-workers shave off the backlog before it overwhelms you.
Are you familiar with and do you use any of the many automation possibilities available to your sector/industry?
Below is my list of more than 20 Danish-developed automation technologies that I am convinced will enable users to achieve more during the same time in the manufacturing industry, the construction industry, farming and many other sectors.
Knowledge doesn’t get diluted by being shared. Let’s share our experiences of what can actually be done to free up qualified employees so they can focus their efforts on tasks for which robots are ill-equipped.
Please write to us in the comments field if you are aware of any solutions, technologies, inventions, etc., with which you’ve had favorable experiences but which you think should be added to the list below!
- Does your production process have bottlenecks? Then have your processes checked by an automation expert at Denmark’s biggest automation firm BILA in Nyk?bing Mors, the distributor of
Universal Robots
,
PALOMAT?
,
Global AGV
etc.
- If you work on internal logistics at your workplace, then check out the Funen company Mobile Industrial Robot’s autonomous mobile robots (AMR), that can relieve the strain on forklift operators, replace conveyor belts and wheeled transport. Also check out the excellent modules from the Vissenbjerg company ROEQ, which are tailored to MiR’s user-friendly robots. @Tasklet Robots in Aalborg is the distributor for both manufacturers. Check out @EffiMat Storage Technology in Odense, too, which has automatic stock vending machines that can handle everything from goods in an online store to beds at a hospital.
- If you have a manufacturing company with a lot of pick-and-place tasks, machine operation and mechanized packing, then check out the range of collaborative applications from OnRobot in Odense, which will free up resources by lending a hand in your production process.
- Do your processes involve the lifting of heavy bags, buckets or boxes using a vacuum-powered lifter or a manual effort? Then save time and prevent shoulder and back injuries by using Cobot Lift in Slagelse.
- If your quality control needs to be given higher priority or optimized to enable you to reduce waste, then check out the Odense business Trivision’s superior technology.
- If you are a welder, metalworker or similar, then check out WeldingDroid in Vejen, which automates the welding of pipes and reduces the welding of tanks to a one-person operation.
- If you need to weld very big workpieces, then Inrotech in Odense has also developed a technology to increase your productivity.
- If you are a busy master carpenter with lots of sawing to do, then check out Amigo from Kobots.
- If you operate an excavator, then check out Unicontrol and their 3D machinery controls that free up resources at the construction site for other tasks.
- Buildcode automates Construction Progress Monitoring and Productivity Analysis, using lidar-enabled smartphones, static/mobile 3D scanners, drones, and robots to gather the data.
- If you are a machinist who operates CNC equipment, then check out Made4CNC and their new automatic door-opener.
- If you are a physical therapist, occupational therapist or similar, then check out the rehabilitation robot Robert from Life Science Robotics, which benefits patients and staff alike.
- If you are a laboratory technician, bioanalyst or researcher with many pipetting tasks then check out Flowbot One from Flow Robotics in Copenhagen.
- If you are a groundskeeper/works manager responsible for marking lines on sports fields, then check out Turf Tank in North Jutland.
- If you work in the security sector and inspect large areas such as ports, industrial facilities and logistics centers, then the outdoor, mobile and particularly cross-country robot from Capra Robotics in Aarhus can assist and relieve you.
- Are you a forwarding agent? Then it will be good for you to learn more about the Funen company BlueKey’s solution, which digitizes and automates processes for shipping companies and cargo carriers in the dry goods industry so they can achieve competitive prices, improve quality and speed up their delivery times.
- If you are in charge of cleaning and eliminating harmful bacteria and viruses, then check out the self-operating disinfection robots UVD Robots from Blue Ocean Robotics in Odense. The same company also has a solution if you spend a lot of time on transportation, traveling to meetings or trade fairs or on hosting visitors to your company. Check out their telepresence robots GoBe Robots.
- If you are involved in underwater inspections, then it is good for you to know that Blue Atlas Robotics in Odense has a robot in the pipeline that will efficiently perform these tasks.
- If you are an organic farmer short on fieldhands, then the FD20 robot from FarmDroid can meticulously plant and weed your crops in fields with everything from sugar beets to red beets, onions and other vegetables – using green solar energy to boot.
- Do you have substantial crop losses because birds each large portions of your yields? Then you take a look at the drone scarecrow, from the Funen company Naust Robotics, currently being used at Gyldensten Manor in Denmark.?

3 年Hardware automation also enables optimization on quality documentation, which can be transformed into operational management data. A cross collaboration between automation and data management is born. BuildCode provide more time to collaborate and lead the construction site in the right direction, with data derived from autonomous construction monitoring. Sitemotion is the construction management software that enable robots to understand construction, build and harvest data in a collaborative way.
