I am not a literalist. This answer was the funniest she often got from him. He meant to say that he doesn't follow literature to the last word. But the dictionaries interpreted it otherwise.

Not in her wild dreams, she would check with him. She found it exotic to let the words be left to fend for themselves. Moreover, she believed that the language could retain its rawness too.

Or maybe she didn't know its usage. She was also not bothered to know who a literalist was.
