You Know It Perhaps... Or Not!

You Know It Perhaps... Or Not!

Perhaps I am not cut out to fit into the mold, or maybe I simply don't want to. I don't want to get married yet, Mom! Their elder daughter Baansuri's version of marriage was actually beyond Uma's understanding. She had no clue from where did she get these rebellious genes in the family. She & Tarun's endeavor was to educate their kids best & let them decide their next move in life. Staying single altogether didn't fit in their scheme of things. Daughters certainly needed to marry and settle with their husbands true to their Marwari culture.

For a moment Uma was speechless. She was not going to argue and stretch this conversation too far but she definitely wanted to talk on this subject still more. So, she just took a deep breath, smiled & said nothing at that very moment. She needed time to prepare her points well before she touched on this sensitive topic with her beloved and usually sensible but stubborn elder daughter.

{You might become the next page tomorrow, this is almost dedicated to a person I deeply but quietly love. I know its fate but still, I will tend it. Give it my heart.}
