You just do websites, right? A year of proper maths.

People often think they know what we do, we’re the website people, right? Well, yes and no, we do that but we also build bespoke software and platforms for people that do all manner of things. Looking back over the year, as you do when trying to recover from too much chocolate, it struck me how much good old fashioned maths we’ve worked with over 2019.

I can’t speak about much of it due to various NDAs but there are a couple of things I can draw your attention to. First up is a tool developed together with Sirius Minerals that calculates the benefits of incorporating their fertiliser POLY4 into fertiliser plans. It takes input from the user and models the results based on POLY4 trials carried out across the world on a variety of crops.

The second is a tooling application for Unison, the Queen's Award for Enterprise winners who create cutting edge tube bending machines. We worked with them to develop an application that helps the operator know which tooling is required for their specific job, calculate and provide critical dimensions and also convert tube dimensions into a three-dimensional space.

Not bad for people who make websites. If you have anything like this you want to chat about, we love it. Please get in touch.
