Will you join us in Porto next year?

As a member in the scientific committee, I would like to inform you about the 8th International Conference on Structural Adhesive Bonding 2025 which will take place in the campus of Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), Porto, Portugal on, 10-11 July 2025.

The conference is chaired by Lucas da Silva and co-chaired by R. D. Adams (University of Oxford, UK).

The focus is on structural bonding but all relevant areas of bonding are welcome: Fundamental aspects of adhesion; the science and technology of surfaces; advances in adhesive materials; mechanical properties of bonded joints; innovative designs and applications; testing and standardization; industrial aspects; quality procedures; environmental and ecological aspects.

Authors who wish to make a presentation (oral or poster) are requested to submit a short abstract (one single A4 page possibly with a diagram and references) in English, by 28 February 2025 .

The full papers will be published in special issues of The Journal of Adhesion?(Taylor & Francis), International Journal of Adhesion and Adhesives?(Elsevier) a book of the book series?Proceedings in Engineering Mechanics - Research, Technology and Education?(Springer) (provided they meet the journals standard).

The full papers (not compulsory) should be sent to the e-mail [email protected] before the 10th of July 2025.?The text should be in single column format and double line spacing.
