Are you investing in yourself?
Jason S Bradshaw
I help leaders launch, scale and grow their business with Experience Management as a way of operating.
As leaders, we bear numerous responsibilities, and one of these is nurturing the growth of those under our guidance.
I recall a significant instance during a development meeting with a team member who asserted they had no interest in pursuing further training or development, expressing a desire to remain in their current role indefinitely.?
While acknowledging that not everyone aspires to climb the corporate ladder, I emphasized to this individual that neglecting ongoing development in their present role would eventually leave them without the necessary skills to perform adequately in it.?
Undoubtedly, many leaders have encountered similar conversations with team members. However, the crucial question I pose is whether you, as a leader, need to engage in such a conversation with yourself.
Leaders must establish a routine of continuous personal development. This practice not only ensures that your skills align with, or preferably surpass, your current position but also positions you favorably for the challenges and opportunities that are ahead.
Three key advantages emerge from committing to personal development:
1 - Exposure to new ideas and concepts enhances your ability to navigate unforeseen challenges.
2 - Cultivating a constant curiosity toward new ideas trains you to embrace possibilities and question the status quo.
3 - Improved confidence and performance result in greater success.
Personal development need not be confined to formal programs; it can take the form of reading books, listening to podcasts, attending industry events, and more.?
So, ?what steps will you take to further enhance your skills and knowledge this month?
2 years ago I opened the doors offering coaching and mentoring to businesss owners and leaders, guiding them toward breakthrough success,
I purposefully chose to cap the number of clients I work with simultaneously, so I can serve them best and accelerate their growth.?
The next phase for many of my clients is to move from one-on-one support to a collaborative group mastermind setting.
So with the mastermind in place I can once again open my doors to my new intensive coaching program.
This caught my attention ... Over 11 Billion messages sent on Black Friday?
Last week on Talking Points with Jason LIVE I spoke about Black Friday / Cyber Monday promotions and asked the question - how can you stand out and get attention if you are simply doing what everyone else is doing it??
Well a post shared by Martin Brown at Braze disclosed the staggering number of messages that their clients sent through their Customer Engagement Platform.?
Over 37 billion messages were sent during this period and it's just through Braze.. Even some of the smaller single channel platforms sent over 100 million emails.?
While another vendors data showed that 50% of all emails sent had a subject line between 8 and 10 words.?

These staggering numbers clearly show the significance of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales events but they also reinforce the importance of showing up differently during these peak periods so you breakthrough the clutter and rise to the top of customer attention.?
So my question to you - have you started planning how your 2024 Black Friday / Cyber Monday activities will breakthrough and deliver significant growth??
