What is CAD Mania?

CAD Mania is an immersive competition that invites participants to harness the power of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools. It's a platform for students to compete in a dynamic arena of creativity and precision, all while elevating their design skills.

Who can participate?

The competition is open to all full-time students enrolled in an accredited University/College/School in India. Teams can have 2-3 members, and individual participation is also allowed. There are no restrictions on the number of teams from the same institute.

The Challenge Awaits!

The CAD Mania Competition consists of three stages, each designed to test your design thinking and technical prowess:

• Pre-Zonal Challenge: Participants will receive a 2D sketch and will be tasked with transforming it into a 3D model using CAD software.
• Zonal Challenge: Teams will be presented with images of two distinct household appliances and challenged to create a novel design by combining their features and functionalities using 3D CAD software.
• Finale Challenge: Students will be given specific problem statements across various sectors and will need to devise solutions in the form of 3D models using CAD software.

Prizes and Recognition

Compete to win top honors and attractive prizes at the Zonal and state-level finales! The winning teams will not only receive recognition for their exceptional design skills but also walk away with cash prizes of up to INR 25,000!
