Are you ignoring the real moneymakers in your sales team?

Are you ignoring the real moneymakers in your sales team?

***If you don't like the hard truth about sales, scroll past and don't read***

What's the real engine of your sales team?

It's not the closers. It's the prospectors.

Let me break it down for you with some cold, hard numbers.

Say you've got 1,000 prospects in your database. Your prospectors are going to dial every single one. Statistics show only 20% will pick up. That's 200 conversations.

Of those 200, only 10% will be interested. That's 20 potential leads.

60% of those 20 will actually show up for a meeting. We're down to 12.

Only 40% of those 12 will qualify for your offer. Now we've got 5.

And here's the kicker - only 20% will close. That's ONE new client.

But here's where it gets interesting.

If your average sale is worth $10,000, every single dial your prospector made was worth $10. Every conversation? $50. Every qualified lead? $2,000.

Your prospectors aren't just filling a pipeline. They're printing money.

They're the ones grinding through 1,000 calls to get that one sale. They're the ones facing rejection 999 times to get that one 'yes'.

Without them, your closers would be sitting on their hands with nothing to close.

So here's my challenge to you: Are you giving your prospectors the respect they deserve? Are you equipping them with the tools and data they need?

Or are you still throwing money at Facebook ads and hoping for inbound leads?

If you want to grow your business, it's simple. Pick up the bloody phone and start dialing. Let your fingers do the walking, just like businesses have done for generations.

Stop waiting for leads to come to you. Go out and hunt them down.

What's your prospecting strategy? Are you relying on purchased lists or working your warm database?

Let's start a conversation in the comments and make sure 2024 blows last year out of the water.
