Developing Strong Leaders & Thriving Companies
Do you Get Push Back from Employees? Feeling overwhelmed with how to implement big changes is a very common problem that is found in today’s work environment. Change is hard for employees to accept and they can often resist.
In business, if you don’t get the buy-in you need to implement change or streamline continuous process improvement, you will find yourself on the menu.
Here are some great tips for Leaders to Leap & Grow:
- Introduce the reason behind the change. Don’t make changes for change sake, make them because there is a good business reason, and explain that reason to employees, who will be much more willing to adapt to the change. Also, explain what will happen if the change is NOT implemented successfully. People need to know what’s at stake.
- Get employees involved in the change process. Listen to their concerns and ask for their suggestions. The more involvement you get from your staff, the better results you will have.
- Keep tweaking the process. New ways of doing business can cause disruption and know that you won’t always get it right the first time.
