ARE YOU A HEADLESS CHICKEN?

Emotional Recalibration To Therapeutically Empower You Through Life's Toughest Challenges
E + A = M
Energy plus Action is vital for creating Momentum. I would often say “Stop wishing and start doing... make a plan and take some action... a plan is like a bicycle; useless until you set it in motion, it remains just a lump of metal and gears... make the call, send the email.“ Now this is indeed very useful but if you just focus on E + A = M, you’ll have momentum alright, but you could also risk the danger of running about like a headless chicken, which I’m sure you would agree, is not a good look.
So now what?
Stillness plus Planning is vital for creating Meaning.
S + P = M
You need both.
It means appreciating that we are present in a unique moment of our own creation; so it is vital from time to time to take stock and reconnect with the fundamental essence of who we are and the wisdom within us, how we wish to show up in the world, and what we want to do next.
Whether this is speaking to you professionally or personally depends on what is important to you right now, but it works for both, so by combining these two processes, you get

Stillness may be something that is challenging initially. Try setting a timer for just ten minutes. Close your eyes and take some deep breaths, in through the nose, and out through the nose, or whatever is comfortable. Allow thoughts to float into your mind and just notice how you feel, as if you are merely observing. The gentle action of practising mindfulness will help to reduce waves of anxiety and bring about a sense of calm. If you have any doubt about that, then you absolutely definitely need to give it a try...
There’s an interesting exercise you might like to try. It will help get some perspective on any overwhelm you may be currently experiencing and help you get in the right space for creating meaning and momentum. I am a huge fan of Dr. Edith Eger and her must read books, The Choice and The Gift. I think it’s well worth trying this process now, as outlined below.
She says; “It takes courage not to be discouraged. There’s progress and change all around us, nothing new ever happened before. Set a timer for ten minutes and make a list of as many things as you can think of that are better now than they were five years ago. Think on a global scale - human rights advances, technological innovations, new works of art. And think in the personal level - things you’ve made, achieved or changed for the better. Let the work that still needs doing be a catalyst for hope, not despair.”
I love that woman. Thank you Dr Edie
I coach you to recalibrate your emotions so that you can have better business and personal relationships
I use psycho education, meditation, visualisation both in and out of trance and, where legal, plant medicine, but most of all, I use my wisdom, and that which I cannot explain
