In honor of #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth and #WorldMeditationDay, I would like to bring your attention to the power we all have to heal ourselves. I used meditation as part of my healing regime back in 2012 in the face of my 2mth cancer prognosis ... and every day since.
Meditation helps me find my calm through the chaos, no matter what I am navigating and it helps me drop the weight of any stress I am holding.
As a beginner to meditation, it can be difficult to meditate deeply and regularly. I suggest. that you begin by watching guided meditation-videos, this will not only help you reduce stress and anxiety but also help you attract positive energy.

1. Start small, with three to five minutes (or less).
2. Understand what meditation can do for you if you have issues with stress, anxiety, irritability, or overthinking.
3. Understand the principles of meditation.
4. Do meditation your own way.
5. Reduce all-or-nothing thinking.
