Let's just assume the man with everything to lose has pretty much everything sorted. Family, money, job, house, etc. Someone like that has very little motive attack - for they risk everything that they already have. They will be ferocious in defence, however. They do not want to lose everything they've built. Unfortunately, this makes them predictable. They will always protect their family over everything. One well placed threat and they're done.
Now let's assume the man with nothing to lose has just that - nothing. There's nothing anyone would really attack him for, so nothing he needs to defend. On the offensive - there is no one more unpredictable and erratic than this person. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, they simply see the end goal. It's do or die. They don't care. Now you could say that with nothing to defend they'd be easier to demoralise, but frankly they'd never normally have anything to defend so the point is moot.
In general I'd say the man that has nothing to lose has the edge - but it's all dependent on circumstance and the people themselves. Only if you think so, hope you make a positive choice. If you have got nothing to lose, it makes you fearless about the consequences/outcomes. If you have got nothing to lose, you put in maximum efforts to achieve your goals and keep trying hard for success every time. If you have got nothing to lose, you don't bother taking extreme risks. If you have got nothing to lose, you don't feel the need to prove others. If you have got nothing to lose, You accept and embrace life for what it is and it becomes better.
Of course having something….Have something thing to lose….. It means that something is present now…it may lose in the future….We cannot bet on our life in future…we may or may not be, creator knows…Then there is no point in fear for something in future when we know nothing about it. Feel the presence, let the aroma of it surrounds you. You do whatever you really were too afraid to do. Of course except killing yourself or any other self destructive thing.

When the worst case scenario has come to pass, there is an immense freedom. You realize, worst case is here, and I'm generally still okay with it. I'm alive. It's really not that bad. I'm uncomfortable, but things really aren't as catastrophic as my mind made it out be. From here you now have the freedom to accomplish whatever you wanted to without the fear of failure. Steve job experienced this after he was kicked out of apple and his company was failing.
Beginners have no fear of failure because they have nothing invested and nothing to lose. Failure is essential for a beginner in any domain to progress. It is only after accumulating "things to lose" that we fear failure, and fear losing those things. Losing them, returns us to a beginner-like state, but with all the knowledge of an expert. It's really the ideal place to be. Beginners have no experience and their experimentation is random and unproductive. You have this golden opportunity to become something greater than before because you know intimately where the problem-points of your initial plan are.
This advice works equal well for relationships, companies, projects, food, money...etc. do not fear failure, least of all when you've already failed in the worst way that you can. ither desperation or enlightenment. In modern day context, if you really have nothing to lose, it feels more like a dangerous state. Nothing could hold you hostage because nothing matters to you anymore. It’s as if you have given up everything. It feels like Joker from Batman talking tho. The scariest people on earth are the ones who has nothing to lose. Cheers!
