?Are you happy??
What does it even mean to be happy in this crazy world?
?Happiness is a lot of things—it's more than just a good mood; it's about stress resilience, motivation, and having the energy to face life's challenges. ????
SOOO are you happy?
The reality is that many of us need to feel better in a myriad of ways, and I love learning and teaching ways to optimize happiness.
?Many of us are feeling kinda “BLAH,” and in positive psychology, this is referred to as languishing, and the happy state is something called flourishing.
The crazy thing I am learning is that happiness is not just a brain thing; it is really a gut-brain thing. The second brain in our gut, and the first is in our head, along with the communication between them.
Whaaaaat???
For example, did you know that 90% of serotonin (your happy hormone) is housed and generated in your gut?
In the upcoming weeks, I am going to be sharing about my favorite topic, Mental Wellness.
Not heard that term?
Check out these two books that changed my life last year.
But for today, I wanted to share with you the change I needed to make to optimize my mental wellness! I wanted simple ways that are proven to work.
I have recently partnered with The Mental Wellness Company, whose vision is?to lead the global mental wellness revolution. They combine ancient natural wisdom with modern scientific innovations to develop all-natural mental wellness products that support vigor, happiness, stress resilience, mental performance, and whole-body wellness.?
This new supplement I’m adding to my routine is called Happy Juice because of the gut-brain axis connection. It helps correct gut imbalances to optimize mental wellness and triggers certain hormones in our brain.
The ingredients in Happy Juice have been shown to increase happy hormones - GABA, serotonin & dopamine.
These clinical studies really stood out to me:
Lowers tension by 45%
Lowers feelings of sadness by 55%
Lowers anger by 54%
Lowers fatigue by 64%
Raises vigor by 44%
Decreases irritability by 60%
Decreases anxiousness by 55%
A healthy gut microbiome is linked to:
