To all those who had rough lives. This is for you my friends.
Some of the weakest people I have met are those who had easy lives. There is an intense correlation between absence of COURAGE and an easy life. Same way a correlation between a harrowing life and formidable brutal COURAGE. Whose earth didn't quake and who didn't have to rub their nose in concrete; they just end up as Time crafted DIVAS. Some of the most admirable people on the other hand, have been those who endured so much that their spirit is made of steel and it is visible in how they withstand the wildest storms which could have knocked out most others.
Their survival system is tuned differently because at no time in life have all variables come together to be kind. Something or the other is a constant nag trying hard to pull them down. Resistance and tenacity becomes part of their personality and they learn to see humour in most things not funny at all.
These are people who insist there is fun in the twirling of a teaspoon in a cup and washing the dishes is catharsis. They make the most of that sudden breeze or a chat with a stranger on the train. They learn to steal happiness in rations from all things life offers for free. What many others have taken for granted is not theirs ever to be. The acceptance of that fate still does not perturb them instead these Xenas and Hercules of real life, play with clover leaves while they keep their sword in its sheath.
Life is not so much about how we deal with problems as it is about HOW WE SEE them. A hard life is a blessing actually. Nothing builds character and personality as a tough journey does. If you have been one to know what I mean ....you would have reached a point where nothing can faze you anymore other than death or illness of a loved one. Everything else thats messed up is just... Life happening :-). You know that you last longer than all your problems :-) And most things that others view as ginormous turbulence is just a mild quiver. What others weep and wail over....is amusing in your eyes .... because what they call a problem would have been a great day for you :-)
If an ode were ever to be written.... remember I will be writing this for you and not those who swam by life thinking it is a fair. It is because life is not fair that you grew to be the fairest.

7 年Mam! Pleasure and admiration reading this.... I even noticed one of your quote on being fair which meant at the weakest of your time you were trying to prove silently I am better than you. People putting obstacles and you kept jumping them smiling. You could just smile and promise to yourself not today but I will comeback and answer. You will always check if your are hurting someone. You will ensure you are not hurting any one lacking capacity or intent to injure. You will encapsulate them from any harm. They are Tenzing, Sachin, Mahatma Gandhi or may be the Mountain man "unheard" ripping apart the mountains but lost in population. Any of the words you write or they write will have one soul. Seeking inspiration from every little thing then your words are more than inspiration. The hardship of starvation for three days and thinking of a dinner in a serene, peaceful, and elegant cuisine gives you the kick to do best. When you are there you gracefully accepts, smile and admire yourself silently. Thanks for your words.
