"(You Got Me) Spellbound" ..new single release for Eddie Collins!

Gold Vinyl Records LLC… introduces a brand new sound and artist… released October 24, 2017 ..“(You Got Me) Spellbound”by The Magic Fleet featuring Eddie Collins

Being based out of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, Eddie Collins is a veteran of the music scene for 55 years (cut his first record at Philadelphia’s famed Reco Art Studios at age 5 in 1962!) performing as a vocalist, drummer, bass guitarist, working regionally and touring nationwide as musical director / drummer for The Drifters, among other iconic artists. He’s also had a colorful career in the industry as radio personality, promoter, music historian, and as journalist. The Magic Fleet is comprised of Philadelphia’s finest veteran session musicians, and vocalists who put their talents and stamp on this recording.

“(You Got Me) Spellbound” is written, and produced by Billy Carlucci, released on his Gold Vinyl Records label. Renown for being a part of ‘that philly sound,’ in the early to mid 1960’s, Billy fronted Jamie/Guyden recording act ‘Billy & The Essentials,’ then was a member of ‘Danny & The Juniors’ from 1970-87. During the 1960’s and 70’s , Carlucci as writer / producer, scored chart records with The Three Degrees, Lesley Gore, Rick Nelson, The Flamingos, 1910 Fruitgum Co. etc. Billy’s credits also include working for the famed Shelby Singleton (SSS Records) in Nashville, and projects involving Jeannie C. Riley, Willle Charles Gray, Sherry Dinning, and others.

Eddie says, “…In recent years, being introduced to the beach music community of the Carolinas, by attending the annual SOS fall migration events in N.Myrtle Beach SC., my wife Debbie and I became so enthralled by the overall culture, witnessing the passion, and tremendous support that is given to Carolina beach music. “(You Got Me) Spellbound,” is a tune that is happy, upbeat, and reflects the beach sounds, my roots and influences in r & b, Motown, and good ol’ rock and roll!..

The track has a great dance groove, and is radio friendly… here’s what radio is saying:

“.. Spellbound is very well produced, and a great song for the shag/beach market.. “ Curtiss Carpenter (Star 102.5 FM ‘King Curtis Beach Club’)

“.. They should be able to make a great line dance for this one..”  Butch Halpin(host of syndicated ‘Carolina Sounds Beach Show’)

Little Eddie Collins has been working hard for a lot of years. This may be the break that he's been looking for. Good luck Mr. Ed. 2017 will be your breakthrough year!!! You deserve this one.
