Are You a Good Person?

A good person is an honest one but where do you draw the line from being rude while being honest?

Maybe this can help your ego relax. "An honest person does not have to be an asshole to get their point across." You can say things respectfully without being aggressive in nature.

Are there exceptions to this rules? What I have learned - is that life is not black and white, there are gray areas. For example, the type of relationship you have built with the person you are speaking to. Obviously this doesn't always work but if you know someone well, you know when your message will start a fight and defeat the purpose altogether. If your intention is to be mean because you're angry with them, you might as well not say anything at all. At that point, all you really did was make them reflect on your flaws.

Life is not meant to be logical. We would be a Vulcan race instead of the human race if that was the case. Judgement takes place secretly in our minds for the majority of us to determine who we are and why. But, it's our place to control it inside and out-loud.

Some things to practice:
Anger and disappointment is a reflection of too much expectation. You can't tell other people how to live their lives but you can express concern, in a nice way.

Your moral code doesn't apply to everyone. For example, I believe sleeping around damages self esteem and you become non-caring for others and your body, but it's not my place to call him a total douchebag or think she is nothing but a whore.

Life is not meant to be clear. It is not meant to be perfect. And, it is not meant to be without evil or wrong implementations because the energy around us is balanced with good and evil whether we like it or not. The problem is we find it in ourselves as a battle as well. You have to decide which side you're on, and, just as a good rule of thumb - when you feel selfishness is necessary consistently, then you're more than likely acting out your bad side. It takes reminders and practice to be a better person.

Be prosper and live well.
