Will you go on, even when the thrill has gone?

Well, I know that most of you would go on even though your heart will several times indicate you to pause and reconsider the entire arrangement. And, not just your heart, but rather every ounce of your body & soul will pull you away, in all ways that they can, from re-investing your time and energy onto projects and people which over time have become non-progressive and disrespectful of your dedication, respectively.
Yet, you being an overly generous Titan, would go on against all odds, religiously striving just like before, in order to sculpt the clay you responsibly picked up rather than abandoning it abruptly because of a variety of reasons, some of which are listed below-
You initially would have thought-
1- This will be my “One Thing”- A thing to fight the whole world for.
2- This will help you attain the long yearned stability.
You lately would have thought-
1- This can all be fixed with a little bit of effort, patience, and forgiveness.
2- This perhaps is just one of many career dips and you should rather try to sail through.
Are you astounded to learn that I can hear through your unspoken words? Well, dear reader, I do empathetically understand and daringly assert what runs through your inner circuit, because it runs in mine too and thus I’m here to genuinely help you, as I go determined to help myself by fearlessly saying “no” to all the non-progressive circles of life.
You see, life is to live and as per this theory, dragging anything at all, under the weight of any reason at all, is absolutely unacceptable.
No, having said all this, I don’t intend to encourage a trend of sudden abandonment and mindless experimentations, especially, in terms of career. No, it’s never a great idea to run away and by doing so, selfishly disappoint people in times of need. However, walking away in a humble manner, if required, is not something I would raise any objection against. Because, to be honest, working half-heartedly on any project at all, never helps in the long run, other than adding a couple of more months or years in your overall work experience. But, what is the point of pretending to be dexterously contributing when an enormous chunk of your attention goes into dealing with the series of organizational glitches and thus digging out a way out; a new opportunity, a new “One Thing”?
So, in case you find yourself stuck at a place where you are becoming bitter instead of becoming better, I suggest you do some basic math keeping all the crucial factors in perspective. And, once you attain the result of your mindful calculation, let your inner voice daringly guide you through. And, yes, if somebody tries to belittle your tough decision by calling you a “Quitter” then do not let their words or actions disturb your equilibrium “For Winners do quit, but quit the wrong things”- Seth Godin.
Yet, all of this won’t make much sense to you until the time you connect with your inner self and figure out the actual purpose of your life- a phenomenal value addition that you wish to make in the lives of people you share the planet- Earth with. But, once you are able to dart that “One thing” of your life, to smilingly struggle for, I humbly request you to thereafter never ever settle for anything which may distract you from passionately chasing it. So, love the process and endure all that you must, if what awaits your arrival at the end of the tunnel allures you to the core.
Dream on, Dream on, Dream on, till your dreams come true. But, yes, first stop dragging on.
