I’ve talked about offering your clients solution based pricing and not pricing your photography by the hour or day rate.
It’s hard to justify a high hourly rate to many clients, but it’s much easier to give them a package based around exactly what they want. Maybe a Social Media Engagment Package or a Website Marketing Package, think about what your clients want the images for.
Take a hotel for instance, do they need 250 images of their rooms and facilities? Of course they don’t, look at most hotel websites or online booking sites and you’ll see a selection of around 40 images per hotel, no more.
When we give too many images, we spend too much time editing them.
Remember as photographers our TIME is MONEY, simple as that.
When I help my photography mentoring clients devise solution-based packages we often reduce the number of images offered by 60% but at the same time double or triple the effective price
Take a bit time to look over your pricing this week. Think about how your clients use the images you provide and how you could effectively offer them a much better price solution based around what they want instead of time.
This is so much easier to sell to clients, resulting in more profits and better time efficiency for you!

5 年ANYTHING to reduce editing time ..! Definitely makes sense not to charge per hour. After all, there are only so many hours in a day ...
