THE NEXT BIG THING IN AI: Believe it or not, we're not continuing our chatbot convo. We're talking about Artifact! Instagram founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger are launching Artifact, a social app named after a combo of "articles, facts, and artificial intelligence." It's an artificial intelligence-powered news product that is currently in beta testing. Artifact measures how often you click on particular sources and how long you read the articles. SWITCH OR ELSE: Are you reading the emails Google has been sending customers about Google Analytics? Starting in March, Google will configure cookie-less Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for customers who still need to set it up. This will include certain conversion events, Google Ads links, and other basics. Those basic configurations may differ from the customizations you need or are used to. Universal Analytics (UA) will stop processing data on July 1. We recommend switching to GA4 as soon as possible to maximize historical data and take advantage of the latest analytics capabilities. Instagram is testing the option to add a "Lead Form" CTA button on business profiles (it has been rolled out to some users but is not available to everyone yet). You will be able to choose either a standard data collection CTA or add custom questions to help guide queries.
