You gave up! But gave me a purpose

You gave up! But gave me a purpose

This is my first article, and I never thought that I would be writing this on 5th September. Same date, last year, my Son's father decided to give up! No one knew what he was going through. Everything looked perfect. He was very successful, looked happy, but he struggled mentally. He had PTSD. He decided to struggle alone. "What will people say? Will they call me a psycho if I share how I feel?" He did not speak up! I wish he did!

He left so much incomplete. His own departure may be made things easy for himself, but not for the ones who loved him! His mother doesn't look forward to anything, and his son waits to see him on the weekends, to have fun in Legoland, magic planet.... We know that it's never going to happen, this wait is never-ending! No tears or prayers are going to bring him back. He left a legacy behind, but nothing could compensate for this loss - my heart bleeds!

Love you Daddy!

They say those who suffer understand the pain. My pain was deep. He wasn't just my ex, he was my friend, and the best Dad in the world! Our loss is beyond imagination! That night, that horrible site, my inner voice said that I should do something to help people fight mental illness. There will be so many around us going through issues in their mind and what can I do to help them?

I started my journey, and in a couple of weeks will be a qualified "RTT Therapist" and "Clinical Hypnotherapist". I did this because I want to help people speak up, ask for help! There is no shame, do not care about the stigma. No, the remedy is NOT to leave the world. Your family loves you and you deserve to live! YOU CANT LEAVE!

I will be touching the lives of people, helping them fight issues like bipolar disorder, PTSD, addiction, low self-esteem, self-doubt, eating disorders, anxiety, depression (the list is endless). My little effort to pay a tribute to him.

I will always make sure your name remains alive. Silver Lining, that you were never able to see, others will see through you, PD.

We miss you!

Rest in Peace!
