You Free This Thursday? And that time we backed into a pole...

Hope you are starting off a great week and getting ready for Halloween. I'm fresh from a Las Vegas road trip with my friend to see Earth, Wind, and Fire in concert. For a bunch of 70ish guys, they really brought it. Fabulous show!

The only bummer was my friend backing into a pole in some random gas station in podunk Utah somewhere. It didn't do any major damage, but I'm sure her husband will have a few choice words....

On Thursday, we had our LinkedIn party. It went very well. LinkedIn is such a valuable platform, I'm always puzzled that so many people won't invest the time to do a proper job of it.

They are estimating that fewer than 5% of the participants on LinkedIn are regularly creating content. By comparison, the best numbers I could find was around 40% for Instagram and Facebook and I think it's closer to 60%.

So, what does that mean to you? LinkedIn gives you an extraordinary chance to be a big fish in a small pond simply by posting even once or twice per week. Note that this is something Your Fairy Techmother would be delighted to help you with.

I'm already posting my own content 3X-4X a week, so it's not a big stretch to post for a few clients as well. And I do a combination of short videos, carousel posts, and static images related to my business. Hop over to my profile and have a peek. This upcoming week on Nov 2nd we are going to have a Canva party. I absolutely LOVE Canva, and I use it for ev-er-y-thing imaginable. I have HUNDREDS of images and templates in my account. So, bring your pressing Canva questions and I'll be happy to answer them. I'm hoping we can create a Canva image to use for a LinkedIn post in this session, so then we can put it to use to create a new LinkedIn post. Win-win!

Nov 9th, I am planning to do a mini-session on affiliate marketing and Black Friday. It's a little late in the game to be doing Black Friday, but I know a lot of you haven't done it yet, so this session will be helpful for you to get the word out there on at least ONE offer. And it's the best time to BUY things for your business, so I hope you have saved up your pennies!
