Are you focusing on the mission-critical?

If you know anything about me, you’ll know the topic of mission-critical is one pretty close to my heart.

In fact, I’m on a critical mission to make everybody see just how vital focusing on the mission-critical aspects of business really is.

This might mean ensuring you have a proper plan or strategy in place before taking any next steps - and making that your absolute priority. Or it might mean cutting back on any additional marketing spends until you’ve got the team and resource you need to succeed.

I’ve covered this area before, I know, but I’m back with some second helpings for you, to really hammer home the message.

That message being:

DO NOT focus your time, energy or money on anything that doesn’t fall under the mission-critical category (i.e. anything that isn’t VITAL to the functioning of your business).

Do so and you’ll likely end up blurring your focus and muddying clarity across the board, as well as wasting valuable time and money.

The mission-critical doesn’t have to be complicated - it’s simply 1-3 tasks that are going to directly help you reach your goals, drive your business forward and boost that bottom line. It’s an ethos I teach on The Growth Programme agenda and one I’m always ready and willing to have a good old chinwag about.
