QUESTION: ARE YOU FIGHTING A BATTLE WITH UNWANTED BODY FAT?
Personal Confession: If you don’t know my story and why I became a Health Coach/trainer, and WHY I personally want to help YOU, here is a shortened version!!! Yes, it really is the short version LOL
It started in my teens. I started to dislike my body and felt that I was the biggest of my friends, really, REALLY. I disliked it so much that, at times, it was all-consuming.
I would, day in, day out, think about how unattractive I was and wished, hoped, and prayed I could just have a “normal” body and just ‘fit in’ like all the other girls.
You know the girls, I mean. The pretty girls that just seem to have it all. The ones with a naturally slender body who never set foot in a gym, could eat what they want and never put on a gram, gorgeous shiny hair, vibrant skin, not a pimple in sight, AND who got all the attention from the boys.
Yeah, those girls.
As I grew into my 20’s, this comparison syndrome became an obsession, and deep down, I knew this flawed way of thinking was going to impact me heavily into the future if I didn’t find a solution.
It was a hard pill to swallow.
So, I found group fitness classes or aerobics back in the day LOL
Shit scared, I turned up to my 1st class, Jazzergetics. I was the fat girl in the baggy track pants hiding in the back of the room. I did not know HOW I was going to achieve this dream body I had created in my mind.
I made friends in the classes, including the instructors, and asked many, MANY questions.
I completely fell head over heels with exercise and continued attending the classes to shape my body.
As time passed, I joined a gym that had the classes there and was given an opportunity to train as an instructor! I NEVER would have thought that I would ever do that!
I also landed a part-time job in reception. I was exposed to the world of weight training and decided to become a trainer.
I wanted to develop my skills and knowledge fast in these areas, so I could help others who felt the same way as me. So, I became qualified as a Personal Trainer but still worked my part-time reception job and trained clients on the side where I could until I built up a clientele.
Not long after, I had enough work experience and gained confidence in my authority, I started to notice a common theme about people’s body confidence…or lack thereof. To be honest, I felt relieved that I wasn’t alone in my thinking.
I learned more and more about not only what my body was capable of, but more importantly what my MIND was capable of. I used and still do use personal development to shape my mind…it was life-changing.
Fast forward, I developed further skills in Food Coaching and then Life Coaching and literally IMMERSED myself into self-help books and attending seminars for days, months, years, following many Guru’s and Thought Leaders on the topic, as I began this fascination about human behaviour.
Why was it that if two women had the same amount of weight to lose and/or wanted to shape a lean body, one would achieve it and the other wouldn’t?!

It all came down to MINDSET.
So instead of reading and learning from all the Mindset and Personal Development Guru’s, I started to BE instead.
No more excuses, no more BS… I just took #CONSISTENT #ACTION and my world changed. ? I heard this from Jim Rehn; For things to change, I had to change, for things to get better I had to be better. It’s true!
I had so much #compassion while consulting with hundreds of women as we discovered the cost of the emotional pain they were experiencing from their low self-esteem and body issues.
Now, from the past 3+ decades, I've taken what I learned that was valuable from each of my Mentors, picked out the bits that worked, and the bits that didn’t and compiled it all together to come up with my own INCREDIBLY #EFFECTIVE method.
Because of this I now have lots of client transformations and I want to help you to!
