Are you feeling overwhelmed and need clarity on direction?
Introducing the solution for overwhelmed busy executives who want to:
· Reclaim their energy
· Reignite the spark in their relationship
· Rebalance the scales of life and business
· Feel the best they have for a decade
Is this you?
Imagine this…
You’re a guy in his mid-40s. A corporate executive who, to the outside world, has it all.
You work at a distinguished law firm that demands prestige and esteem with its name. You drive a refined German executive car. A second car on the drive for your gorgeous partner and your kids attend a renowned private school.
It seems like life is a huge success, but underneath the facade and glamour, you’re struggling.
You feel drained and exhausted every day. You use caffeine, sugar and possibly other substances to pick up energy to get you through the day.
The longer the week drags, the more hardcore the stimulants. By Friday night you lay awake in bed, tossing and turning because you’re so wired from the stress of the week. You can’t fall asleep and look for other ways to spend your restless time. Getting drunk every Friday night seems like a good solution to knock you out and force slumber. It’s a mess.
Where did it go awry?
You’ve put weight on over the last decade. You remember being 30 something and somewhat of a highflyer in the office. You won promotions, wined and dined on corporate nights out and showed up the next day fit as a fiddle!
You were going places. Had an amazing partner, lots of friends and young energetic kids. Everything was jolly.
Fast forward a decade. You’re tired, stressed and feel disconnected from your partner. Your kids hardly know you anymore because you’re never there and you’re always working 7am-9pm.
All you need is rest
Now at work you failed to get the promotion. Twice in the last year to someone younger, with more energy and pizazz. And it's not just your work that is suffering.
At the weekend you’re exhausted from the stress of the week. You turn to drink to make yourself feel better and instil a sense of calm. You crave rest and a bit of peace and quiet but that creates more disconnect from your family. You’re not showing up, not active with the kids and not having personal time with your partner.
Your family is tired of it, they’re frustrated. The truth is they miss their dad, their husband. But the emotion comes out in arguments as frustration and resentment, crying. The whole situation creates perpetual stress.
Your partner is soldiering on, but the loving connection has disappeared. The relationship has died, and you know it. You’re not stupid, you’re a smart guy but you feel like it’s all too much. You’re so overwhelmed and stressed that you don’t know which way to turn or how to start making changes. You lack the energy needed to make anything happen.
How long can you go on?
Soon it's going to be too late and something will break. You're pulled aside by your boss and given a talking to about performance and energy. Your marriage could be falling apart and you’ve seen friends go through divorce. You’ve seen their kids display hatred but it’s not real hate. It’s because they never get to see their dad and they desperately want to.
You don’t want to go through that but you feel lonely and unappreciated. It all feels too much. Your life is falling apart around you and you don’t know which way to turn.
The solution is not complicated but it’s not easy either. When you’re busy and stressed nothing feels easy. But that’s why you’re stressed - because you’re too busy!
Don’t lose hope. You still have resources to tap into. There is still a way to turn everything around.
Here’s the solution to feeling overwhelmed
What the guy in the story needs (or you need if you resonate with him) more than anything is energy.
You can’t change your work schedule and you can’t make your family fall in love with you more if you don’t show up. You need energy to perform at your greatest capacity. You need energy to fuel change and make a stand to claim your life back. The life you deserve to lead. A life of happiness, prosperity and excitement.
Three steps to end overwhelm
Follow these three simple steps to build a regime that gets you more energy and lets you feel like you’re in your 30s again.
Step 1: Get clarity on your strategic objectives
· What do you want and why?
Without a clear and defined direction all you will feel is overwhelm, a lack of direction and more stress.
Do this before you start a fitness regime, go to the gym or begin a diet. Decide exactly what you want so you feel in alignment with your goals. If you don’t, you’ll make things worse because the focus will not be present.
Step 2: Schedule
You’re a busy guy. You don’t have a lot of time and if you leave self-care until after work you know it’s never going to happen. Meetings have a habit of running over, daily fires need putting out and the boss demands overtime. By the end of the day all you will want to face is slumping down on the sofa to binge watch the TV.
Schedule your routine like you would an appointment. Put time in your diary and honour it like it was a meeting with the boss. This is the only way you will show up on a consistent basis.
Schedule time for yourself. Whether it's to work out, meditate or sit in the park for 10 minutes without your phone because that’s all you can get. It's still 10 minutes to destress and that can make all the difference.
Step 3: Build small habits that lead to big outcomes
Apply the 80/20 rule. Keep it simple.
Identify two or three key things that you can stick to that will make the biggest difference and enable change. Do those and only those things. Keep them small so that you don't get overwhelmed and burn out in a week.

If you would like help to set goals and make a change, or if you would like to lose 20-25 lbs in the next 12 weeks, let’s talk.
If you want to regain your energy and feel on top of the world, like you did a decade ago, let’s talk.
Even if you’re super busy and don’t have time to go to the gym. Or if you worked with a personal trainer in the past and it didn’t work out because you didn’t lose the weight, that’s cool. Something was misaligned that’s all. Drop me a message and let’s have a chat.
