I help business owners thrive through nutrition, exercise & mindset by giving them tools and strategies they can use for the next 20 years+ without having to go on another diet again. |Nutrition | Diet |
If you have ever tried to lose weight and it has not worked for you it is easy to think that you are a failure. But you are not a failure, and it's not your fault, and it never has been.
Too much information is available for you to download, too many people telling you that you just have to move more and eat less, too many PT's and coaches telling you "you're not wanting it badly enough to stick to the diet". On the last one I know you do!
Your challenge is that all this information and negative influences is beating you down and making you feel like a failure.
What if I told you there is another way? This method throws away the old style thinking, makes it less stressful and at the same time allows for a successful set up that you can sustain and more importantly enjoy!
No longer are you having to download the latest fad diet and exercise program, no longer have do you have slog it out at the gym 5 days a week, and no longer having to eat boring and bland food that actually is doing nothing to help you lose the weight once and for all!
You see the above mentioned problems all have one common mistake, they all assume that by doing this particular method, it is going to fit into your lifestyle as easily as putting on a silk glove, but it does not work like that.
So your first step is actually to understand your own lifestyle and ask smarter questions of yourself. At the moment your question is as basic as "how do I lose weight?" That question alone would yield hundreds of results, but they are along the path you have already tried before. You know that path so well you know the potholes already that you have failed to navigate before.
If you know that is the case, ask yourself a smarter question - maybe it is something like "how do I lose weight and enjoy the process?" Now this question will yield possibilities you had not considered before. You see smarter questions give you smarter answers.
However, you still need to go deeper, so consider this question "how do I lose weight, make it sustainable, and enjoyable, whilst also making it fit my lifestyle?" Ask yourself that question and see if you come up with even more possibilities, but this time possibilities that you can actually action and sustain in the long run.
That is the 1st step done! Now it is onto the actual diet itself. You need to ditch the bland and boring food and try a new approach. One that gives you energy to sustain you throughout the day, tastes good and keeps cravings at bay, whilst also helping you lose weight!

The answer to this a fat-adapted diet, whereby you can turbo charge your fat burning ability, whilst not wanting to chew your arm because you are feeling so hungry.
Food on this diet is tasty, and can be cheap and easy to make, so as a busy professional you are not going to have to chained to the kitchen every night, because the food you can make is so good, you can batch cook it and have more later in the week!
The last step is about your accountability. You need to have accountability to yourself in terms of making sure that you are as consistent as you can be with your lifestyle, and you need to be accountable to someone else.
This will help you create the consistency that you need. You don't need to be perfect, because if you aim for perfection, you will be disappointed as that is an impossible achievement and sets you up for failure (and this is why some coaches really get it wrong in my opinion) and I have always advocated to my clients that you need to have the right balance between enjoying the process, and the work that you need to put in to make sure that you get the results you deserve. If you can be between 80%-95% compliant on regular basis, you will get the results and more importantly, you will never have to go on a diet again!
Now, if you are thinking all well and good, but you need help at starting this, then fear not as I am here to help you get started.
