A Quick Exercise: Rewrite Your Inner Dialogue
Here’s an exercise I love doing that has worked really well for my clients, too. Write down the thoughts that come up when you think about pitching yourself. Be honest—What words do you hear in your mind? Are they negative or limiting?
Now, rewrite them as if you were talking to a friend. Be your own best coach! For example:
