Are You an Expert, a Disruptor, or a Catalyst? Are You in Touch with Your Inner Hero?
My readers know my utter disdain for what I call DIGIBABBLE…a state of mind that holds back true innovation and world-changing advancement…beyond more than the opportunity to sell more and advertise to do so.?
AI is the latest frontier for my DIGIBABBLE bombs. While AI is already saving lives…in so many profound ways…much of the focus seems to be on fear (fair enough and good for click-throughs)…and on advertising and entertainment (topics near and dear to my heart and where we have been active for years…before it was called AI), or on some amorphous generalization of a world ruled by AI…possible—but a lazy posit.
And yet, I have been blessed to have incredible conversations, about AI and more, that challenge me to think deeper…change my mind (countless times)...and go down Rabbit Holes that I never thought of…Dan G…thank you!!!
As I have these discussions, I have divided my fellow discussers into two broad camps with a third, smaller grouping of catalysts—the best of all.?
The Experts and the Disruptors are the broad categories. This is how I define them:?
And then there are the CATALYSTS. These are folks who embody both expertise and disruption (Dan!). These are the minds that aren’t afraid to go down the Rabbit Holes…and, like Alice, move with fluidity between what was and what might be understanding that we as humans are the link between the two.
My view? Our competitive advantage lies in bringing the ethos of the EXPERTS and the DISRUPTORS together, building on the output to create CATALYSTS.???
Bring in the experts, the Best Practices, the seasoned consultants and let them mingle with the Disruptors…the seekers, and risk takers…the collision will rock and shock.?
In my experience, as I have written about before, the Disruptors become the Experts, and the Experts, once counted out, start Disrupting, and the best of both become catalysts for changing the world.???
“After all, the ordinary hero hiding in each of us is often the most powerful catalyst for change.”?—Tate Taylor
Get in touch with your ordinary hero. Be an expert and a disruptor. Change the world.
Be profound because you confront profound change…not because you have the answers or want to stir the pot.??
Feed that little hero…and then follow it into the Rabbit Hole and hold on…after all, you are the human connector.?

2 周BiGD aka Michael Donahue conveys disruptive business ideas which when executed, deliver measurably positive cognitive results. Currently, my major disruptive idea : Get marketers to use my ideas and programs to increase company profit by focusing more on full price buyers via easily accessible first party data like experiential marketing, influencer marketing, purpose branding ecommerce and retailers selling their selling data so marketers can differentiate between full price buyers and reduced price buyers so mktrs won't price promote against full price buyers : retail buyers and ecommerce buyers. All the above data is why my LinkedIn profile is Brand Profitability Expert.
