It's been a looong hard summer so far.

Everything seems to be on the go slow at the moment. Taking ages to get briefs booked in. Delays in CV feedback, interviews taking weeks to schedule - it's tough at the moment.

But recruitment rule number 1 is perseverance wins, always. We're working really hard to make sure we keep processes moving and that we're consistently give an A* service to our candidates and clients.

But we don't it right every time and sometimes we do miss feedback to candidates, or allow interview arrangements to slip away. And we always feel absolutely gutted and horrified when we do. There is a perception that recruiters don't care or are just in it for the money, and whilst elements of this are true, there is a genuine human understanding with every person at YOU Exclusive.

We always try to treat you with respect, reserve judgment and not have any form of prejudice toward any candidate. It shouldn't really be a differentiator, but in this modern world it is. We love trying to help people in to new jobs.

YOU Exclusive, like every good idea, it was curated over a pint and a zoom call during a pandemic. This one happened to be between two people with seemingly diametrically opposed views on righteousness in recruitment. Will Grashoff & Robert Kenward shared some fundamental values and the sparks of their love for recruitment and events, and formed a bond – sounds weird, but it just works.
