Our team is made up of two childless people, your dear authors Keiran McGrath and Sammy B. , and two people with children; Robert Kenward and Will Grashoff .

There is a massive contrast of ways of working through the summer between the two groups.

For example, Keiran left for a sunny holiday in Ibiza today. Whereas Will spent the morning cleaning an ice-cream stain off the sofa as the kids snuck downstairs and decided to have ice-cream for breakfast. Bless em' ay.

Anyway, the next 4/5 weeks will bring plenty of challenges for everyone who has child-care responsibility or not (Keiran's mainly being getting on the guest list of Ocean Beach). If you're looking for a role, be prepared to have interview schedules slightly longer to book in and often within very fixed times. Please don't feel it's because there is a purposeful lack of flexibility, it's just lots of people will be spinning lots of plates.

Co-Founder Will runs another recruitment agency (rec2rec) so has a very good general overview about what industry's are doing well, and not so well. We're delighted to say that the Events, Creative and Experiential sector is one of the busiest out there - with plenty of growth opportunities for business and individuals.

YOU Exclusive, like every good idea, it was curated over a pint and a zoom call during a pandemic. This one happened to be between two people with seemingly diametrically opposed views on righteousness in recruitment.
