Welcome to The Neurodiversity Coach Newsletter. As an Executive Coach, Leadership Trainer and self-professed geek, I've had the opportunity to work with neurodivergent leaders and coach them through many leadership and workplace challenges. Each week I share resources and insights for neurodivergent leaders and the rest of us.
In this week's newsletter we address a common desire for all types of leaders whether neurotypical or neurodivergent: influencing those who lead us.

Are you Dumb Enough to Manage Up?
I mean the original definition of the word dumb… as in not able to speak.
I coach a steady stream of corporate leaders. Last year I spoke to more than 250 leaders and nearly every one of them comes to coaching or training with the question of how do I manage upwards better. How do I influence my leader when it seems like I have nothing to offer them?
It’s simple:
See what happens. I predict magic.
The cool thing is that anyone can do this. Whether you are neurotypical or neurodivergent, great at the same language as your leader, same or different gender, we can all be dumb.
So, are you dumb enough?
Let me know how it goes.
Ken
