Consider your attitude toward your career: Consider if the feeling of excitement towards making accomplishments in the day puts you closer to your long term goals and springs you out of bed in the morning. Would you say you are driven, complacent, or disengaged?
Sometimes, a little inspiration is all it takes.

Old Philosophy for the New World
Famous quotes from philosophers of old, Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Immanuel Kant, Mary Wollstonecraft, Jean-Jacque Rousseau, John Locke, and Thomas Hobbes to name a few, have been around for generations. Interestingly, their teachings have withstood the test of time and can be applied in our lives today, despite the words being spoken hundreds if not thousands of years ago. The fact is, as circumstances change, they keep us thinking – about what is important to us and what words we select to guide our lives. A philosophy in life creates an approach, an attitude, and forms the basic principles that make up our thought process. In turn, it allows us to be fulfilled.
Driven is a Mindset
Working backwards from your philosophy, you know what is important to you. Exploring what drives you will help you reach your life goals, because you better understand what really matters. It may inspire you to continuously learn, and evolve your mind. The way you think about things, how you structure your life and efforts – are all a product of your drive. The result goes far beyond your job, and is also more than your career – it’s a life momentum caused by inspiration from words of wisdom: your philosophy.
A Personal Drive
Take a moment to think about your own philosophy. What words have stuck with you for years, perhaps that you have read, or that someone taught you? What are the reasons for you waking up in the morning? Are they to help people? Make a difference in the world? Create something that outlasts you? Whatever it is, you’ll know when you come across it. And your drive will propel you.
