You don’t write SEO content without this

“SEO is dead in 2018”, “No more SEO”, “SEO is a waste of time”. These words are always heard in the Content Marketing Industry. Actually speaking, it is not. Over 2 million contents are written every day on Online, Be it a Website, Blog, Post, Landing page, and Ads. Do you think all these contents works online without SEO? Certainly, it is not. SEO is still alive. But you need to have proper skills and techniques to write the SEO content. Your content should always make the ready happy and educated.

If people really like your content, they will start liking, sharing and tweeting the content. My aim is to educate you, people, how to write the great content. The content also needs to SEO friendly.   

When I say SEO friendly, there should not be keyword stuffing. All you need is write the contents for Humans not for search engines. I will explain you the basic steps which you need to do follow while writing the content.

Think and Think:

Before you start writing the content, think what you are going to write. Identify the readers. What are the messages to be conveyed to the readers? Identify the important things to include. Think about the images to be added. Take some important points to be added to the content.

Structure of the Post:

The Structure is very important for the post. Make sure you plan the Topic in which it should attract the reader. The body of the post should explain the topic well and clear information to be given on this. The last part is a conclusion, in which you need to summarize the topic and give the clear conclusion on the topic to the readers.

Usage of Paragraphs:

To make paragraph nice, you should not start each paragraph with a new line. Each paragraph should have a different theme and don’t try to cover the entire information of the theme in a single paragraph. You should convey the message in one or two sentences. If required, you can add more paragraphs.

The inclusion of Heading and Subheading:

Heading should be written clearly for all content. This is one of the important factors which explain the theme of the paragraph. Heading not only helps your readers but also for SEO. Google scans the heading and identifies the theme of the paragraph. Use subheadings when required which will helps the visitors to scan the content well.

Using of Signal words:

Using of Signal words is another important area to cover the content. For instance, you are writing a product description for customers to buy the product. Use the words such as First of all, secondly and finally. This will give a clear signal to the readers. Readers will instantly get the conclusion after seeing the signal words.

Let others first use it:

Before posting the content, let some other read your content first. Ask them whether he/she understood the content. Correct the grammatical errors, typos, and sentences clearly.

Length of the article (300 words to 700 words):

You need to be aware that your article should have a minimum of 300 words. But, Google loves the long article. If the article is too long it might scare the readers. Try to keep the article between 300 words to 700 words.  You should use the search terms a minimum of 1% to 2% in the content. So, in an article of 300 words try to use your search terms minimum of 3 to 6 times.

Linking is another task:

You are not only going to write one content about the topic. You need to link the other old content with the new content. This will helps Google to understand that you show some authority over the content. The reader might be also interested in the content.

Adding Contents regularly:

Adding the contents regularly will make your website live. Google will crawl the website at regular intervals. If the content is not fresh, it will affect the ranking of the page negatively.
