关于我们
Portland Parks Foundation is an independent nonprofit founded in 2001 to preserve the legacy of Portland parks, and bring new resources and expertise to the long-term stewardship of Portland’s parks and park programs. The Foundation recognizes that government agencies alone are not able to guarantee citizens a vibrant network of parks and parks programs. We work in cooperation with Portland Parks & Recreation, private foundations, park-supporting nonprofits, and citizens to build a stronger parks system.

The Kidz Outside Fest has always been a St. John’s celebration, but this year with the news that we will finally develop George Park — it’s extra special. We are seeking sponsors for this year’s event! The Kidz Outside 3 will be hosted Sat. Aug 24th at George Park with family activities including clowning by Nikki Brown Clown and live music from the George Middle School Band, renowned jazz trumpeter Farnell Newton, and St. John’s’ own, emcee and TKO co-founder Mat Randol. Each year we have brought nearly 300 kids, families, neighbors and community members of to this once “forgotten” park - and this year we expect more. Sponsorship is a great way to support the future of North Portland’s youth and families, while supporting a community-led vision from the ground up. If you, your business or your organization are interested in supporting — contact LaQuisha Minnieweather at [email protected] 503-568-6539.
