You don't need a "real" computer to convert files.

One of the things we will all run into sometime in our lives when working with files on various computers, using different types of software is compatibility issues. Not all computers and or web services are compatible with all file types. Possibly, what you want to do, will work better with a different type of file. For example, maybe you need to convert a video from .MOV format to .MP4 or .and audio file from AAC to .MP3.
This sounds like one of those things you need a “real” computer for. A Chromebook couldn’t possibly be able to do this type of heavy, professional computing.
Actually, it is way easier than you think and the possibilities of conversion are almost endless.
