I’ve got a cool trick to help with conversions..

But first.?

If you’re just getting started and don’t have customers yet, don’t waste money on expensive proposal software.?

Instead, focus on creating a simple quote template that gets to the point and helps your prospects understand your value.?

Here’s how:

? Address the Problem First: Prospects won’t buy unless they admit they have a problem. Start your quote by clearly stating the issue your service solves. This builds the foundation for your value proposition.

? Focus on Benefits, Not Just Features: It’s easy to get lost in the details of what your service does, but your prospects care more about how it will improve their business. Clearly outline the tangible benefits they’ll experience.

? Show the ROI: Don’t leave it up to your prospect to figure out the value. Spell it out. For example, if hiring locally costs $70,000 and your offshore service saves $41,000, show how your service delivers a 7X return on investment. Be explicit.

Start simple. Your first quote doesn’t have to be perfect, but it should communicate the problem, solution, and benefits clearly. Build from there, learn from feedback, and refine as you grow.

?? Pro Tip: Don’t skip the critical step of showing your prospect exactly how your service will benefit them financially or operationally. If you don’t, they’ll just see the price tag and may dismiss your offering as too expensive.
