I know, not the most professional heading, but come on how many more statistics and reasons do you really need before you will accept that video is kind of a big deal?
Video is no longer just one tactic in your overall marketing strategy. It's critical to your campaign efforts … especially when it comes to your social game.
Video is positively dominating social media right now (and pretty much has been for a while). According to a recent HubSpot Research report,
“Four of the top six channels on which global consumers watch video are social channels.”
Why is this important? If you aren't creating video, you're likely letting your competitors’ stride ahead of you. But, don’t freak out, it doesn’t have to be a movie length feature of epic proportions… in fact, sometimes the simpler the better, it’s more you, and your audience is going to connect with that.

I’m not going to lie, you are going to have to put some time and effort in to learn this stuff, it’s not as simple as plug and play, but if you work at it, you could be doing this for your company and killing it on social!
So, strop procrastinating… do some research, update your phone or invest in some lighting and photography/filmography gear and get shooting! You’ll have a great time, help your pages to achieve better engagement and ultimately, bring in more leads!
